On August 16, 2012, CHUO 89.1 FM (Ottawa) The Train's Denis Rancourt interviewed Ottawa artist and recent criminal charge defendant Mr. Terry Stavnyck, in studio, about the judicial ruling in the criminal assault charges against him. Mr. Stavnyck was found not guilty of assaulting a large security guard by repeatedly kicking the guard in the groin while being arrested. The Judge Heather Perkins-McVey was cautioned about reasonable apprehension of bias during the trial and this changed in-court atmosphere.
