John Carroll as the artist -- Everybody Smokes in Hell

On January 5, 2012, CHUO 89.1 FM (Ottawa) The Train's Denis Rancourt interviewed Ottawa musician and song writer John Carroll about his latest CD "Everybody Smokes in Hell" with The Epic Proportions band.

John's promoter and support teem Tiah was in studio with their three year old child Henry, who decide to play animal zoo in the lobby instead.

A low key intimate interview explored John as the artist, perspective, motivation, family, inspiration and, well, the harsh side of life...

"Don't be too quick to condemn your vice."

John was a main figure in the GSAED graduate student pub on campus back in 2004 or so where he met Tiah. He has been in residency at the renown Cafe Lafayette "The Laff" every Wednesday night since 2004. Catch up with him there, and with his ambiance style and amazing talking blues.
