On August 16, 2012, CHUO 89.1 FM (Ottawa) The Train's Denis Rancourt interviewed Ottawa artist and recent criminal charge defendant Mr. Terry Stavnyck, in studio, about the judicial ruling in the criminal assault charges against him. Mr. Stavnyck was found not guilty of assaulting a large security guard by repeatedly kicking the guard in the groin while being arrested. The Judge Heather Perkins-McVey was cautioned about reasonable apprehension of bias during the trial and this changed in-court atmosphere.

August 9, 2012 show: Denis Rancourt alone commenting the criminal court case of Terry Stavnyck
On August 9, 2012, CHUO 89.1 FM (Ottawa) The Train's Denis Rancourt took the microphone alone to comment on the recent judicial decision in the criminal court case of Ottawa resident Terry Stavnyck. Large security guards attacked the 90 lbs. multiple sclerosis patient in the Canadian Parliament building and then charged Mr. Stavnyck with the criminal charges of assault against one of them and disturbing the peace. Crown, government and police malicious prosecution of Terry Stavnyck
On November 17, 2011, CHUO 89.1 FM (Ottawa) The Train's Denis Rancourt interviewed Ottawa artist and social justice activist Terry Stavnyck live-in-studio about the malicious prosecution by the Crown, government and police against him.

The theme of the interview was Terry's legal battle against absurdly false criminal charges being carried by a Crown that logically must be either criminally incompetent or ethically challenged, in this reporter's opinion.
The 128 pound practicing pacifist who has multiple sclerosis and now walks with a cane is accused of striking a muscle-bound Parliament Hill security guard in the groin no less than four times, in the face of contradictory video evidence and medical examination report of the guard - all this while he was being brutally attacked by two such guards...
