Recent history of resistance and liberation struggles in kanada
On December 30, 2010, The Train interviewed Christian live in studio to discuss First Peoples' resistance struggles in kanada (especially interpreting the Oka crisis) and to review Quebec independence history with the FLQ.
Christian is a long-time independent journalist, current history researcher and social critic who has traveled to and lived with the people he attempts to understand and to join in struggle. He is also an urban resistor participating in alternative life styles and spaces to enable needed rebellion against state oppression.

Kevin Annett vs Vancouver Co-operative Radio
On August 26, 2010, The Train interviewed renowned aboriginal rights activist Rev. Kevin Annett by phone in Vancouver.
We reviewed Kevin's activism but mostly we described a recent and ongoing conflict between Kevin and Vancouver Co-op Radio in which the radio executives have use a harsh legalistic approach to trespass Kevin off the premises while publicly stating that his radio show is not being canceled.

Fighting for Residential School Survivors Rights
Kevin Annett, one of the most popular Five O'Clock Train guests, joined us on February 18, 2010, to discuss the Friends and Relatives of the Dissapeared recent tactics in their fight for residential school survivors to get justice.
From a description of the assault he was subjected to, to the effects of the Olympics on the Native living in Vancouver, Kevin makes a vivid description of the every day life conditions faced by the Canadian Holocaust survivors.

This week we had the pleasure of speaking with one of our favorite guests on the Five O'Clock Train, Kevin Annett. Kevin joined us by phone from Vancouver to speak of his recent action in Rome. Kevin continues to fight for justice and truth in the name of the victims of the residential school system.
